Japan country’s TV (TBS) news reported the release of iPad in Japan and, at the same time, another product on sale in China: the iPed.

The appearance of iPed is similar to genuine iPad, but the price difference is huge. The price of iPed is around US$105 which is 5 times cheaper than iPad.

Actually, if you visit some shopping marketplaces in China, you can see there are various brands of touch screen tablets (Apad, iRobot, etc..) sharing the same “design”.  As far as China’s iPed is concerned, someone may be interested in the configuration of China’s iPed and Apple iPad. Google has ambition in Mobile market. After it has acquired AdMob for $750 Million, it releases the mobile phone Nexus One today. What is Google next step? I believe Google plans about how to enhance the revenue via mobile advertising. As the search advertising is pretty saturated and video advertising (youtube) is not common, Google must need to find new revenue. Mobile advertising is the good try. However, I feel that mobile advertising is still in the early stage, it is hard to say if Google can be successful like its search advertising.
